SIX SENSES RESORT AT LAAMU, MALDIVES (2023)

Six Senses Laamu Resort's Specialty Japanese Restaurant need to expand and exponentially upgrade to cater an overall Japanese Cuisine experience to the Resort's guests.

The Existing Restaurant Space have been reworked to be the Sushi Bar & Main Dining with a new show kitchen. There are Two (02) underused Lounge Spaces adjacent and are repurposed wherein one space was converted to an Airconditioned Sake Bar, and the other space was set-up as the new Teppanyaki Dining Room.

The Main Design consideration is to keep the existing Architecture, however, the need to add elements to have a subtle Japanese feel. Timber is the main material mixed with the use of Granite counters and Decorative Timber screens.
