By the Sea is Gili Lankanfushi’s mouthwatering Japanese dining destination boasting ocean views, a cozy sushi bar, interactive teppanyaki grill and tatami style seating.

The Design approach is to do massive improvements on the existing Japanese Restaurant Space. The not popular Bar was converted to a Teppanyaki Dining Room, The Sushi Bar was enhanced with improved sushi display and dining counter design, and a complete revamp of the show kitchen with the introduction of Decorative Timber Screen works as an Interesting Separation Design Element between the show kitchen and dining areas with an integrated Sake Bar .
